The Check stores your answers. It collects no IP address, browser or device information, or tracking data of any kind.
Your email address is requested only after your result is displayed. If you provide an email, we will use it to send you your result and to contact you if you requested contact. It is not shared, sold, or added to a mailing list.
The Purple Check-Up is in private beta. If you request a place, you give a name, an email address and a company. Those three details are kept in a separate file from anything the Check records, are used only to answer your request and to reply if you write back, and are not added to a mailing list. Ask and they will be deleted.
Your answers are about your own area of work. Nothing is asked about any other named person, and nothing you enter can identify a colleague.
Your email address and name are kept for 30 days after we last send you your result, which is exactly as long as your result link works. When the link stops working, the address behind it has already been deleted. This happens automatically.
If you took the Check on your own, your answers are kept for 12 months and then deleted. If your organisation works with us, its results are kept while that work continues and for 12 months after it ends, so that change over time can be shown. We keep a note of when a result was opened or emailed and to whom for 12 months as well; that note holds no answers. When anything is deleted it is recoverable for fourteen days and then destroyed for good.
To have everything deleted sooner, write to peter@saat-network.ch and it will be removed.
